Organic Zinc

Organic zinc refers to the complex formed by zinc and organic ligands (such as zinc glucate) or chelate (zinc methionine), etc. Amino acid zinc chelates have become the main development trend of trace element zinc additives today. Organic zinc is suitable for various rubber vulcanization active agents such as IR, HNBR, NR, SBR, and BR.

Organic zinc plays a large role in the production of plant feed, rubber, feed, and animal husbandry. Organic zinc is used in the production of rubber products such as tires (radial tires), conveyor belts, hoses, transmission belts and seals. Organic zinc can mainly be used as a vulcanization activator instead of high-quality zinc oxide, with a dosage of 3-5 parts.

Zinc sources in food and feed are mainly added in the form of organic zinc or inorganic zinc. Compared with inorganic zinc, organic zinc is less irritating. There is less of it, the palatability is better, the organic zinc has high chemical stability, and the bioabsorption and utilization rate is relatively good.

Commonly used organic zinc mainly includes zinc lactate, zinc gluconate, zinc citrate, polysaccharide zinc, etc. If organic zinc is used as a feed additive, it is mainly used in animal nutrition, such as zinc methionine, zinc yeast, zinc glycinate, zinc lysine, etc.
