Overview [1]
Mefenphos is an organophosphorus pesticide, and its structure has two spatial isomers: cis and trans mefenphos. The pure product of trans-sulfate is a light yellow to orange liquid. Trans-sulfate is an organophosphorus pesticide that inhibits acetylcholinesterase. It has a broad-spectrum insecticidal effect and is commonly used to prevent chewing and sucking insects. Insects and spider mites, etc.
The main analysis methods for trans-imphosphonate include the hydrochloric acid amine method and infrared spectrophotometry. Currently, the hydrochloric acid amine method is used in China. The content of domestically produced phosphorus is low (40 to 50% in chemical industry) and has more impurities, which interferes with the hydrochloric acid amine method and causes large errors. Infrared spectrophotometry is still difficult to use for industrial production analysis.
