the economic daily, a party newspaper directly under the central government sponsored by the state council, published an article stating that throughout 2016, my country’s fixed asset investment amounted to 59.6501 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 8.1% over the previous year. in other words, my country’s fixed asset investment scale has long exceeded 45 trillion yuan, so there is no need to over-interpret this. there is a high probability that my country’s investment operation will maintain overall steady growth in 2017. if we estimate that fixed asset investment maintains a growth rate of about 8%, my country’s fixed asset investment scale is expected to reach about 64 trillion yuan in 2017.
