Evonik raises prices for PMMA molding compound products – TMPDA – Tetramethylpropylenediamine

Starting from October 1, 2016, the Functional Materials Business Segment of Evonik Industries Group will increase the price of PMMA molding compound products globally. PMMA molding compound products are marketed under the brand name PLEXIGLAS® (in the Americas as ACRYLITE®), while modified PMMA molding compound products are marketed under the brand names PLEXIMID® and XT® polymers (in the Americas as ACRYMID® ) for sale. The company will increase prices by 5% to the extent allowed under existing contracts and based on the type of product.
