Preparation method of holmium phosphate hydrate nanomaterials_Industrial additives

Background and overview[1]

Holmium phosphate hydrate is a rare earth phosphate material. Rare earth phosphate materials have diverse structures, remarkable properties, and good chemical and thermal stability, making them widely used in optical devices, catalysts, and sensing. In recent years, the synthesis, characterization and performance research of nanostructured rare earth phosphates have gradually become a focus of scientific researchers. Rare earths themselves have rich electronic structures and exhibit many optical, electrical and magnetic properties. After nanometerization of rare earths, the performance and functionality of materials can be greatly improved. Rare earth nanomaterials can be used in many fields, such as catalysts, ceramics, optics, dye batteries, and hydrogen storage materials.

Preparation[1]

CN201910688553.3 reports the preparation method of holmium phosphate hydrate nanomaterials:

NaOH (0.6g) was added to a solution of ethanol (10 mL) and oleic acid (10 mL), and the mixture was stirred. Add NaHPO4·2H2O (5mL, 2molL-1) and Ho(NO3 to the reaction mixture >)3(5mL, 2molL-1), some amorphous precipitate appeared immediately. After stirring for a while, the mixture was transferred to a reaction kettle (50 mL) and ethanol (15 mL) was added. The autoclave was sealed and the reaction was heated to 190°C and maintained at 1 calcium phosphate for 6 hours. The reaction was then cooled to room temperature and the final product separated spontaneously at the bottom of the autoclave. Finally, it was dried in an oven at 60°C overnight to obtain the final product for later use.
