Seven aspects that should be paid attention to when using polyurethane insulation materials-TMPDA-Tetramethylpropylenediamine

Under the national policy requirements of advocating energy conservation, environmental protection, and green buildings, polyurethane insulation materials have always been a hot spot in the market. Due to on-site spraying construction, polyurethane insulation materials are easily affected by factors such as the temperature of the construction environment, the proportion of black and white materials, the thickness of the insulation layer, the construction equipment and the technical level of the construction personnel.

For this reason, please pay attention to the following aspects when using polyurethane insulation materials:

 1. Strictly control the temperature of the construction environment. The most suitable temperature for polyurethane foaming reaction is 20-25℃. If the ambient temperature cannot be changed, please tell us your ambient temperature in time.

 2. Strictly control the proportion of black and white materials. The ratio of ordinary ingredients is 1:1.

 3. The black and white materials in the polyurethane insulation material are mixed as evenly as possible. It is recommended to use a motor with a speed greater than 1200 rpm and a spraying machine to reach a certain pressure during the mixing process (manual stirring causes uneven mixing, leading to large bubbles, crisp foam, and low dispensing rate).

 4. Temperature resistance. Products made of ordinary polyurethane materials have a temperature resistance of 70°C, and products made of high-temperature polyurethane materials have a temperature resistance of 160°C.

 5. Flame retardant performance. Flame retardant means self-extinguishing when removed from fire, not non-combustible. The oxygen index of B2-level flame-retardant polyurethane foam reaches 26, and the oxygen index of B1-level flame-retardant polyurethane foam reaches 32.

 6. Reaction performance. The reaction performance indicated on the analysis report we provide is established under specified conditions (such as temperature, stirring speed, mixing time, material ratio). If there are changes due to factors such as temperature rise and fall during the 6-month shelf life, , making the foaming speed too fast or too slow to be constructed, is not a quality problem.

 7. Polyurethane insulation material deteriorates. The apparent phenomena of deterioration of combined polyether are: ① The color becomes darker. ②The viscosity increases. ③It has a strong smell and can smell sour. ④The reaction performance is significantly reduced; if it starts slowly, it will not be fixed for a long time. ⑤The middle part of the foam appears red. The combined polyethers offered by us are guaranteed to have a shelf life of six months.
