UV filter production capacity increased – Cosmetic silicone oil manufacturer

IOTA has undertaken a series of production expansion activities for UV filters to continue to support global market demand and its global customer growth.

In recent years, global demand for modern UV filters has increased due to growing awareness of the importance of sun protection to consumers’ skin health, as well as trends in certain reformulations, such as modern UV filters. Octadiene-free products are produced in Europe.

The IOTA facility in Grenzach produces UV filters used in sun protection products. The site also serves as a global competence center for the development of new UV filters and the company’s technical service, which advises manufacturers of sun protection products worldwide on optimal filter combinations and formulations.
