Economic Daily: my country’s fixed asset investment scale may reach 64 trillion this year

The Economic Daily, a party newspaper directly under the Central Government sponsored by the State Council, published an article stating that throughout 2016, my country’s fixed asset investment amounted to 59.6501 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 8.1% over the previous year. In other words, my country’s fixed asset investment scale has long exceeded 45 trillion yuan, so there is no need to over-interpret this. There is a high probability that my country’s investment operation will maintain overall steady growth in 2017. If we estimate that fixed asset investment maintains a growth rate of about 8%, my country’s fixed asset investment scale is expected to reach about 64 trillion yuan in 2017. (Economic Daily)
