Compared with natural leather, polyurethane leather has excellent advantages such as lightness, wear resistance and low price. Especially as an industrial product, it can be designed with more appearance and texture on the surface of the leather, which significantly improves the aesthetics and versatility of leather products. However, leather materials with polyurethane as the main component inevitably have the common problems of polyurethane materials, such as light and heat will be prone to aging, cracking and so on. To solve this problem, leather manufacturers need to add anti-ageing additives, such as anti-oxidants, light stabilisers and so on. But this brings another problem, polyurethane leather as a thin product, usually only a few dozen to hundreds of microns thick, in this case the material in contact with nitrogen oxides in the air, very easy to occur red change. Most of the anti-ageing agents on the market today not only fail to protect. They even accelerate the process. Even if a few anti-oxidants can slightly improve, but still can not completely solve the polyurethane leather red change problem.
